This supplemental workbook will help give the user a very precise understanding of their personal experiences with alcoholism, recovery, the first portion of the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous, and the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous. The A.A. recovery program can be found in the first portion of the book Alcoholics Anonymous. We became interested in the A.A. recovery program, and treating it with “paramount importanceâ€, with attention to the “masterly detail†when everything else presented to us as a remedy for our alcoholism, both in and out of the Fellowship of A.A. had failed.

The workbook is structured to follow the Big Book, in order, from the cover to page 164. Step one, four, and twelve are broken into multiple parts to maintain a focus on the primary subject within those particular steps. Each chapter will open with a brief commentary on what is written in the next reading. Each page of the Big Book will have a matching page in the work book. The workbook will have two different exercises for each page. Each page is structured in the following way: Glossary words, Knowledge questions, and Experience questions. Occasionally there will be references to the Appendices section of the workbook.

It is our hope that everyone who has not yet found a solution to alcoholism in the Fellowship of A.A., will find a solution in the A.A. recovery program found in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. This workbook will serve to further augment, solidify the user’s knowledge and experience in the solution and A.A. recovery program, so that the user will experience permanent recovery from alcoholism, through the spiritual structure that will be built, as well as newer and finer structures in all our affairs, as they have been envisioned through that spiritual structure.
